Designed to function as a pressure relief valve, the actuator uses an internal spring and adjustment bolt to keep the wastegate shut until your turbo reaches target boost pressure. Once reached, the valve opens to divert exhaust flow, slowing the turbine and preventing overboost.

💡 Important Fitment Note:

• “Twin position” means a 2nd Gen style manifold flipped upward with the turbo clocked accordingly.

• This setup is required for proper actuator function and clearance.

The actuator remains closed under spring pressure until a set boost level is reached. At that point, drive pressure overcomes the spring and opens the wastegate—venting exhaust, controlling boost, and preventing turbo overspeed. Unlike traditional can-style actuators, this spring gate offers improved accuracy and reliability in high-performance twin or single turbo builds.
